Reuters has a virtual bureau chief?

I grew up in the world of communicating through to friends through underground BBs (Great-great-great-great-grandfather of Myspace) and LANs (local area network). I even earned some extra money in college by playing first person shooters competitively (i.e. Counter-Strike).

But, I caught by surprise when I discovered the following.

Reuters has a virtual bureau chief. They have one full-time employee, whose job is to cover the virtual world of Second Life. Why? Because there is real money to be had in Second Life, with real people creating real businesses.
